Alvin McLean, Jr., Ph.D.
Alvin McLean, Jr., Ph.D. is currently a professor of clinical psychology and Co-Director of Clinical Training at John F. Kennedy University’s Doctorate in Clinical Psychology Program. Dr. McLean on faculty in the University of Washington School og Medicine, Department of Rehabilitation Medicine for seven years and went into corporate healthcare where he was Senior Vice-President for ParadigmHealth for 20 years. After retiring from corporate healthcare, he joined the faculty at JFKU. Dr. McLean is currently co-owner of a medical specialty home health agency.
Dr. McLean is active in his community. He is a member of the Board of Regents for Samuel Merritt University and he is also on the Corporate Board of the Bay Area Albert Schweitzer Fellows. Additionally, Dr. McLean has been an active member of Allen Temple Baptist Church for over 20 years where he has served in a number of different roles including Training Coordinator of the Anger Management Program, administrator of the Bethsaida Counseling Center, and Director of the Men’s Chorus.
